Job summary

Citco is seeking a skilled risk & control professional to join the Risk and Control Team in Manila. The role focuses on leading testing of Hedge Fund processes, developing quality control programs, and enhancing internal controls across CFS operations.

Ideal candidates have 4–8 years in risk management/audit, CPA/CIA is a plus, and strong English communication. The position emphasizes collaboration with global teams and ongoing staff development.

Qualifications

• The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance or another related field.
• A relevant and recognized professional qualification such as CPA or CIA is desirable.
• Four to eight years experience in risk management/assurance/internal controls/audit in financial institutions or alternative investments.
• Fund accounting experience is preferred.
• Experience with a Big 4 audit firm is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is expected.
• Excellent written and spoken English is a prerequisite.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills; proactive and independent work style.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Risk and Control Manager (based in Manila).
• Lead and review operational effectiveness testing for Hedge Funds processes, ensuring high-quality workpapers and timely escalation.
• Involve in creating new Quality Control programs and testing key controls.
• Oversee controls testing of Hedge Fund Accounting processes including NAV calculations and fee templates.
• Prepare quality control reports to Senior Management with trends, root cause analyses, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with business divisions to enhance the internal control framework and drive efficiency.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and progress reviews for team members.
