Job summary

Amentum seeks a Cable and Antenna Systems Specialist to support a US Navy program on Diego Garcia. The role covers installation, maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of antenna systems and RF equipment, ensuring readiness and safety for government operations.

Candidate must have at least three years’ antenna maintenance experience, possess a valid passport, and be able to travel internationally to remote BIOT locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Three+ years of experience maintaining antenna systems and related equipment.
• Experience using tools associated with antenna maintenance.
• Working knowledge of antenna systems, outside plant equipment, and safety procedures.
• Ability to climb and work at heights and travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, inspections, repairs, and installation of antenna systems and related hardware.
• Conduct maintenance on HF, VHF, and other antenna systems.
• Work at elevated heights following safety regulations and fall protection.
• Assemble, install, repair, and maintain antenna systems using specialized tools.
• Troubleshoot damaged RF components including cables, reflectors, waveguides.
