Job summary

Planate Management Group is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to design and implement quality standards for large infrastructure projects. You will inspect materials, oversee laboratory testing, review specifications, and coordinate corrective actions with project teams. Willingness to relocate to project sites is required.

Excellent English, a licensed engineer, and 5+ years of on-site QA/QC experience are essential. A valid driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

Licensed engineer with at least 5 years of relevant infrastructure project experience.
Preferably Construction Quality Management (CQM) certification.
Minimum 5 years on-site QA/QC and safety surveillance experience on commercial or military projects.
Experience in pre-stressing works and concrete mix-design under diverse construction conditions.
Excellent English in written and verbal communication.
Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Prepare QA/QC plans for new construction and refurbishment work.
Ensure QA/QC procedures including inspection timelines, sampling and testing requirements.
Oversee quality assessment of materials through laboratory tests.
Review specifications and recommend standard construction specs for works.
Review test forms, QA testing schedules and procedures; evaluate results.
Evaluate contractor practices and remedial actions as needed.
Collaborate with project engineers and designers on QA/QC procedures and timelines.
Conduct supplier material source surveys to ensure quality and value.
Perform other duties as assigned.
