Freelancer.com is seeking a strategic payments leader to shape and scale our global payments ecosystem across international markets. You will own the payment strategy, drive operational excellence, and build a high-performing team across three international offices.

You will establish governance, optimize funding, settlement, risk controls, and vendor relationships with banks and networks, while aligning with compliance, finance, and product to enable scalable cross-border commerce.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in payments, fintech, banking, or regulated financial services.
• Proven ability to manage and supervise payments operations teams.
• Proven experience building and managing full cycle AP/AR workflows and multi-party settlement.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a unified global payments vision across regions.
• Lead a payments organization across three international offices.
• Standardize procedures, reporting, KPIs, and escalation frameworks.
