Job summary

Maersk in the Philippines, a global logistics leader, seeks a Finance Manager/Controller to oversee financial reporting, control procedures and internal analyses. You will consolidate data, prepare timely reports, and support business decisions across the Asia-Pacific region.

The role requires 3–5+ years leading teams, strong English communication, and experience in operations or freight/logistics. Hybrid/office environment with cross-functional collaboration in a multinational setting.

Qualifications

• College Graduate, or Bachelor's Degree holder.
• Flexible working across shifts and adhere to organizational work policies.
• Including working from office requirements.
• Preferred to have years of experience in operations, shipping container and logistics or Freight forwarder industry.
• Should have at least 3-5 years of experience leading a team of Individual contributors or Team leaders.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring the overall accuracy and integrity of financial information through effective financial control procedures.
• Consolidates information and prepares timely and accurate financial reporting, and handles financial modelling.
• Analyzes internal financial information (e.g., profit loss accounts, financial statements, working capital, costs, prices, expenses, revenues, rates of return, etc.), as well as external economic conditions and their impact on business operations.
• Management stream includes those who primarily lead people for whom they have employee lifecycle responsibilities including hire/fire decisions, coaching/mentoring, coordination of tasks, appraising performance, pay reviews, and developing for future assignments.
