Qualifications

• Proven freight forwarding or logistics experience with LCL operations.
• Ability to drive business development, support sales, and identify LCL growth opportunities.
• Strong commercial acumen with pricing, rate management, profitability analysis and vendor negotiations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience in developing customer-centric logistics solutions and managing co-loaders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize cargo flows and yields.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive the local LCL product and business development strategy.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on key objectives.
• Drive sales and support account managers in LCL opportunities; join sales calls.
• Coordinate with customer care and operations to meet customer demands.
• Ensure profitability by following up on discrepancies and optimizing pricing.
• Maintain LCL rates (MSR) in KN Rates to support quotations and tailor-made pricing.
• Negotiate trucking and CFS rates to optimise yield and service quality.
• Provide LCL product training to colleagues involved in the portfolio.
• Develop tailor-made solutions for customers based on the product portfolio.
• Maintain relationships with co-loaders and service providers.
• Optimize cargo flows using the best transportation options.
