Job summary

Maersk is seeking an experienced AR Manager in Manila to lead accounts receivable activities, oversee collections, and ensure compliance with global finance standards. You will guide a regional team, optimize cash flow, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across the organization.

The role requires 5+ years in AR/credit management, with leadership experience, and proficiency in SAP, Oracle, or Dynamics, plus strong analytical and communicational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years in AR/credit management, with regional exposure and at least 2 years in leadership.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics) and AR automation tools; strong Excel/Power BI skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee invoicing, collections, payment applications, and dispute resolution of KC customers across global regions.
• Ensure AR processes align with Maersk’s global finance standards and local regulations.
• Drive strategies to reduce DSO and improve liquidity.
• Monitor overdue accounts and lead collection efforts across diverse customer bases.
• Manage KC AR controllers, providing coaching, training, and performance reviews.
• Liaise with GSCs and headquarters to ensure smooth financial operations.
