Job summary

Manulife/John Hancock is seeking an HR Reporting Analyst to join the Human Resources team. You will deliver global HR reporting and analytics using Workday and Power BI, turning complex data into clear insights and supporting SLAs.

Intake and manage a high volume of requests across multiple workstreams, ensuring data accuracy, timeliness, and quality. You will partner with stakeholders to clarify requirements and translate questions into actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, data validation, and large datasets.
• Strong analytical thinking with ability to connect insights to business implications and anticipate follow-up questions.
• High attention to detail with clear understanding of broader business context.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate data, risks, and outcomes clearly in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supporting HR systems (Workday, Salesforce, ServiceNow) or equivalent analytical/reporting experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver global HR reporting and analytics using Workday and Power BI, providing recurring and ad hoc insights aligned with SLAs.
• Intake, prioritize, and manage a high volume of reporting requests across multiple workstreams while ensuring accuracy and data quality.
• Partner with stakeholders to clarify requirements, challenge assumptions, and translate business questions into meaningful insights.
• Analyze data beyond standard outputs to identify trends, risks, and downstream impacts on decision making.
• Monitor, reconcile, and maintain data integrity across HR systems; flag issues early and drive resolution.
• Communicate findings clearly and collaborate with HR systems and data teams to improve reporting capabilities.
