Job summary

Baker Tilly Philippines is seeking an experienced audit professional to lead multiple engagements from planning through completion. You will guide Senior Auditors and staff, ensure adherence to audit methodology, and coordinate with engagement teams in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires CPA accreditation, at least five years external auditing experience, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Public Accountant.
• Minimum of five (5) years of external auditing experience obtained from a known auditing firm.
• Must be willing to travel and work both locally and abroad, if necessary.
• Willing to be assigned in Makati City
• Proven Audit and compliance experience from different sectors or industries
• Experienced in both local external audit and international external audit is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple audit engagements, including planning, executing, directing and completing financial audits.
• Provide guidance and expertise to Senior Auditors and professional staff.
• Oversee audit engagements’ progress and execution of planned procedures.
• Apply knowledge of audit methodology and standards to audit work and documentation.
• Identify audit issues and escalate to partners as necessary.
• Lead and manage audit teams, reviewing work and mentoring staff.
• Maintain communication with other engagement teams and track progress against the plan.
• Develop coaching frameworks and mentor team members; conduct training on accounting and auditing standards.
