Job summary

Arcadis, a leading design and consultancy firm, seeks an accounting professional to support Corporate Enabling Function reporting and monthly close processes in Manila. You will coordinate P&L transactions, accruals, reclassifications, and salary reconciliations while collaborating with global Finance teams.

The role emphasizes process documentation, OneStream data uploads, and proactive stakeholder engagement, contributing to robust internal controls and timely financial reporting.

Qualifications

• CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification with 3–5 years in general accounting
• Experience in a shared services or multinational environment is advantageous
• ERP systems experience (Oracle or SAP); OneStream is a plus
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication across all organisational levels
• Proactive team player with detail-orientation and results focus
• Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to clearly communicate analyses with both technical and business perspectives

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly transactional tagging of Corporate Enabling Function costs
• Prepare monthly P&L GL transactions and coordinate with Accounting and Accounts Payable teams
• Prepare monthly EF accruals and reclassification journals for salaries and other costs
• Prepare monthly salary reconciliations and bonus accruals
• Assist with EF balance sheet accruals
• Support upload of EF and M’L P&L Actuals, Plan and Forecast data in OneStream and respond to Group Finance queries
• Prepare process documentation for current reports as drafts for review and approval
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
• Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned

Role accountabilities:

• Prepare monthly transactional tagging of Corporate Enabling Function costs, including personnel and other business costs, to support accurate Enabling Function reporting.
• Prepare monthly P&L GL transactions and coordinate with the Accounting and Accounts Payable teams to ensure effective financial controls are in place.
• Prepare monthly EF accruals and reclassification journals for salaries and other business costs, as required.
• Prepare monthly salary reconciliations and bonus accruals for review by the Global EF Controllers.
• Assist with the preparation and review of EF balance sheet accrual accounts.
• Support the upload of Enabling Functions and Management P&L Actuals, Plan and Forecast data in OneStream, and assist with queries from Group Finance.
• Prepare process documentation for current reports as working drafts for review, feedback and approval.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:

• CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification, with 3 to 5 years of experience in general accounting, controlling, management reporting and financial reporting.
• Experience in a shared services or multinational environment is an advantage.
• Experience with ERP systems is preferred, such as Oracle or SAP; OneStream experience would be an advantage.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels across the organisation.
• Proactive and committed team player.
• Able to work under pressure with minimal supervision; detail-oriented and results driven.
• Able to work flexibly to support changing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to communicate analysis with clarity and precision. An ideal candidate would have a strong grasp of both technical and business perspectives, including project management.
