Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an IT Operations professional to handle backups, asset management, monitoring, and incident management for our Manila operations. The role involves 24x7 shifting readiness and delivering rapid, high-quality service in a complex enterprise environment.

You will work with Cisco and Microsoft ecosystems, manage AD/DNS/Windows Server, deploy patches, and maintain monitoring tools to minimize outages and improve reliability.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of high technical experience in Cisco and Microsoft solutions.
• Ability to restore outages quickly and provide detailed Root Cause Analysis.
• Experience with endpoint management and monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Backup and Restore: ensure regular backups, manage tools, perform restorations.
• IT Asset Management: maintain hosting and networking assets, CMDB improvements.
• Monitoring and Events Management: respond to outages, root cause analysis.
• Identify and Access Management: SSO integration, AD health.
• Software Deployment and Update Management: patch deployment, OS upgrades.
• Provide best end user experience and maintain tech assets.

Role description

Responsible on working all tickets and other operational tasks.

Individual responsibilities

Backup and Restore

• Ensure regular system backups in place
• Manage and configure backup toolset
• Perform quick system restores for disaster recovery purposes

IT Asset Management

• Apply industry best practices in maintaining and operating hosting and networking assets
• Asset Change Management. Maintenance and improvements on CMDB

Monitoring and Events Management

• Provide fast and quality solutions to outages detected by our monitoring tool
• Resolve issues that has high customer impact
• Provide indebt root cause analysis, and apply logical solutions

Identify and Access Management

• Act as control and enact identity policies
• Provide SSO integration on accredited external sites/application
• Maintain health of AD infrastructure and functionalities

Software Deployment and Update Management

• Deploy latest patches on resources
• Perform in-places OS upgrades

Key Shared Accountabilities

• Provide the best end user experience possible
• Maintenance/Administration of Tech assets

Qualifications & Experience

• 2 to 5 years of high technical experience in technologies mainly but not limited to Cisco and Microsoft solutions. Able to operate/navigate on technologies regarding Virtualization, PaaS, IaaS, Security and recovery, Azure Storage, AD, DNS, Windows Server OS, SCCM, Linux, PowerShell.
• Demonstrate significant technical abilities by quickly restoring outages, able to provide detailed Root Cause Analysis for server slowness/outages.
• Endpoint Management

• Monitoring & Observability Fundamentals
• Basic understanding of:
  • Infrastructure monitoring (servers, network, cloud, endpoints)
  • Metrics, logs, traces (foundational awareness)
• Familiarity with tools such as:
  • LogicMonitor
  • NagiosXI
  • Other enterprise monitoring platforms
• Alert Handling & Event Management
• Incident Management (ITIL Aligned)
• Troubleshooting
• Technical Documentation
• Willing to work on a 24x7shifting schedules including weekends and holidays.
