Job summary

Accenture in the Philippines seeks a seasoned Legal Counsel to lead Ethics & Compliance, Data Privacy within its Global Data Privacy team. The role blends strong legal expertise with privacy and business acumen, with a focus on AI and emerging technologies.

You will advise global functions on privacy by design, conduct PIA/DPIA reviews, drive governance, and partner with stakeholders to embed privacy into new services and digital initiatives.

Qualifications

• Law degree and licensure in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Experience with privacy governance frameworks and DPIA/PIA.
• Strong English communication and advisory capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic privacy compliance advisory to global functions on data privacy.
• Lead initiatives to mature Accenture's global privacy program, including governance and privacy-by-design.
• Drive privacy review processes and scalable advisory capabilities across regions.
• Conduct Privacy by Design reviews for projects, services and technology solutions.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to integrate privacy considerations from design to deployment.
• Translate evolving privacy regulations and AI/tech trends into actionable guidance and training.
• Maintain relationships with Legal, IT and Information Security teams and clients as needed.
• Monitor privacy trends and translate them into program enhancements.
• Support cross-functional privacy program initiatives and workstreams.
• Stay abreast of legal developments in data privacy and adjacent fields.
