Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Data Delivery Manager to lead comprehensive solution delivery across assigned accounts and to ensure top technical standards and strong client partnerships.

The role requires proven 10+ years in Data/Analytics, Big Data, and BI projects, with hands-on Hadoop ecosystem and cloud technology experience. You will guide cross-functional teams and drive agile delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience delivering Data/Analytics, Big Data, Data Warehousing and BI projects.
• Strong data engineering knowledge including batch and streaming.
• Hands-on with Hadoop ecosystem: Hadoop, Yarn, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, Kafka.
• Programming in Python, Scala or Java for data mining and ML tasks.
• Experience with SQL and cloud data technologies.
• Knowledge of data architecture and software delivery cycles.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques.
• Experience with agile delivery methodologies.
• Knowledge of data security challenges and cloud migrations.
• Strong English communication and client management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of solution delivery for specified accounts.
• Maintain governance of delivery and production activities.
• Manage resource allocation to fit required skills and delivery plans.
• Provide technical leadership for sustainable architectures and quality.
• Facilitate teamwork among disciplines and stakeholders.
• Establish and grow long-term client relationships.
• Handle client issues and mitigate engagement risks.
• Lead preparation of proposals and statements of work.
• Ensure projects align with EPAM’s agile methodologies.
• Develop delivery schedules with time, quality, and resource estimates.
• Apply risk management strategies to support decision-making.
• Track and improve delivery productivity.
• Support sales bids with technical and managerial input.
• Coach and mentor delivery managers.
• Engage with EPAM delivery management community.
