Optum Philippines is seeking a senior clinical leader to guide a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, set standards, and shape clinical strategy. You will own the quality of program outputs and lead governance discussions with senior leadership across time zones.

The role requires an MD with active PRC licensure, 5+ years in leadership, and strong executive presence with excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• MD with active PRC licensure and completed residency or 3–5 years of direct clinical practice.
• At least 5 years of leading teams with accountability for quality and development.
• Strong executive presence and effective English written and spoken communication.
• Ability to operate across time zones with a US-aligned working schedule.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and grow a multidisciplinary team and set clinical standards.
• Own clinical quality and defensibility of the team's output for clients and leadership.
• Oversee program delivery, onboarding, ROI discussions, monitoring, and issue resolution.
• Support Pharmacy and Therapeutics activities and safety research.
• Govern content and alert logic, including literature reviews and governance participation.
• Provide oversight on drug prior-authorization and Medication Therapy Management.
• Act as global leader of Optum clinical organization and pharmacy leadership.
• Advance clinical capability through mentorship and structured development.
• Collaborate on AI and decision-support tooling with defined escalation paths.
