Job summary

San Miguel Corporation is seeking a Glass Forming Production Engineer in the Philippines to support the Mandaue, Cebu-based glass forming operations. The role involves shift turnover reporting, defect analysis, and collaboration with the GF Engineer to implement corrective actions and ensure smooth production.

Responsibilities include servicing molds and feeders, adjusting parameters to meet weight targets, and documenting MOR entries.

Qualifications

• Must have undergone basic technician course.
• Must have taken Basic Glass Technology course.
• Must have undergone On-the-Job-Training at Glass Forming Services.

Responsibilities

• Acquires information on defects and corrective actions from the preceding shift.
• Relieves outgoing GF Technician and reports to assigned shop.
• Inspects samples and discusses corrective actions with GF Engineer.
• Adjusts feeder parameters to meet target weights and records MOR data.
• Replaces defective mold and finish equipment to ensure production.
• Assists GF Engineer in troubleshooting bottle defects and machine issues.
• Inspects molds and equipment prior to installation and records defects.
• Follows environmental, safety and health practices.
