Citco International Support Services Limited - Philippine ROHQ is seeking a capable GL Accountant to join our Compliance team in Manila. You will prepare and post journal entries, perform reconciliations, and support month-end and year-end closes.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA or CFA is preferred. Candidates should have 2–4 years of GL experience, Oracle Fusion familiarity, and strong Excel skills for reporting.

• Professional certification (CPA, CFA, or equivalent) preferred.
• 2–4 years of relevant GL accounting experience.
• Experience in a global financial services organization advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
• Perform monthly balance sheet and bank reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes within deadlines.
• Investigate and resolve GL discrepancies and variances.
• Maintain fixed asset registers and intercompany reconciliations.
• Assist with preparation of financial reports and management accounts.
• Support internal and external audit requests with documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and relevant regulatory standards.
• Identify and recommend process improvements for GL efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (i.e. AP, AR, Tax) to resolve discrepancies.
• Perform other related tasks and duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager, particularly during month-end, year-end close, and audit periods.

As a core member of our Compliance team you will work closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to minimize operational risks and ensure our clients experience seamless delivery acrossbanking services.

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certification (CPA, CFA, or equivalent) preferred
• 2–4 years of relevant GL accounting experience
• Experience in a global financial services organization advantageous

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Oracle Fusion or similar ERP systems
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, reconciliation templates)
• Familiarity with financial reporting tools/dashboards
