Job summary

The Citco Group Limited is seeking a GL Accountant to join its banking and financial services team in a dynamic, global environment. You will handle journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly close tasks to ensure accurate financial reporting.

The role requires 2–4 years of GL accounting experience and proficiency in Oracle Fusion and Excel. CPA/CFA or equivalent is preferred, with strong attention to detail and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
• Perform monthly balance sheet and bank reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes within deadlines.
• Investigate and resolve GL discrepancies and variances.
• Maintain fixed asset registers and intercompany reconciliations.
• Assist with preparation of financial reports and management accounts.
• Support internal and external audit requests with documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and relevant regulatory standards.
• Identify and recommend process improvements for GL efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (AP, AR, Tax) to resolve discrepancies.
• Perform other related tasks during month-end/year-end close and audits.

About The Team & Business Line

As a core member of our Compliance team you will work closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to minimize operational risks and ensure our clients experience seamless delivery acrossbanking services.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certification (CPA, CFA, or equivalent) preferred
• 2–4 years of relevant GL accounting experience
• Experience in a global financial services organization advantageous

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Oracle Fusion or similar ERP systems
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, reconciliation templates)
• Familiarity with financial reporting tools/dashboards
