Job summary

Planate Management Group in Quezon City, Philippines is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join our Global Technical Support Center. This on-call, part-time role supports design and assessment of soil and rock properties for foundations and earthworks.

The candidate must be a licensed Civil Engineer with at least 5 years of geotechnical experience and strong AutoCAD/MS Office skills, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (required)
• Must be a licensed engineer (Professional Engineer license preferred)
• At least 5 years of geotechnical experience
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications
• Proficient in English (written and spoken)

Responsibilities

• Study soil, rocks, and materials for construction projects
• Analyze ground physical and mechanical properties to assess suitability
• Conduct site investigations and collect soil/rock samples
• Support environmental remediation and waste management
• Study soil/rock properties to minimize contaminant spread
• Ensure safety and stability of projects and protect the environment
