Job summary

Outsource Accelerator, assisting a leading European healthcare technology company, is expanding its QA team to ensure high-quality cloud-based software. You will plan, execute, and maintain manual and automated tests across a modern web app, working with Product Owners and engineers to raise quality releases.

You will build automated test coverage with Playwright and TypeScript, run API tests, and use AI tools to speed up test creation. Hybrid work with UK hours is offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in manual and automated software testing.
• Strong QA methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with API testing using Postman or similar.
• Experience with SQL databases.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and automated testing pipelines.
• Strong automation experience using TypeScript and Playwright.
• Experience using AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor.
• Strong English communication and problem-solving skills.

They are expanding their engineering team and are looking for an experienced QA Engineer to help ensure the quality and reliability of their cloud-based SaaS platform through both manual and automated testing.

About the Role

As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and maintaining both manual and automated tests across a modern cloud-based web application. You'll work closely with Product Owners and Software Engineers to deliver high-quality releases while expanding the team's automated testing framework using AI-assisted development tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform manual and automated testing for web applications.
• Develop and maintain automated test coverage using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Execute API testing and validate application functionality.
• Maintain test environments and investigate test failures, regressions, and environment issues.
• Collaborate closely with developers and Product Owners to ensure product quality.
• Use AI tools such as Claude or Claude Code to accelerate test creation and automation.
• Provide accurate effort estimates and contribute to sprint planning.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manual and automated software testing.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices.
