Target is hiring a General Merchandise Team Leader in-store. You will lead a team to deliver a consistent guest experience, manage daily workloads, and support store sales goals. The role emphasizes coaching hourly associates, training, and maintaining adherence to safety and merchandising standards.

The position requires strong leadership, customer service focus, and ability to coach a diverse team in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

Guest service fundamentals and experience building a guest-first culture on your team.
Retail business fundamentals, including department sales trends, inventory management, guest shopping patterns, pricing and promotions strategies.
Leading a team by planning department(s) daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver sales goals, with alignment from your direct leader.

Responsabilités

Consistently deliver guest experience commitments to create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience.
Ensure every team member understands, is trained, and consistently delivers on Target’s guest experience commitments and consistent operations.
Lead and manage the daily/weekly workload to achieve department and store sales goals and guest engagement.
