Transcom in Manila, Philippines is seeking a General Ledger Analyst to join our finance team in Pasig. The role focuses on maintaining the general ledger, processing journal entries, supporting audit activities, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

The ideal candidate has a Finance or Accounting degree and at least three years of general accounting experience, including cash, AR, fixed assets, and payroll processes. Proficiency in SAP and Hyperion is required.

At least three years of general accounting experience.
Experience handling cash, accounts receivable, fixed assets and payroll accounting.

Responsibilities

Bookkeeping and data entry of accounts receivable, intercompany transactions, employee advances and liquidations, prepayments, amortization, and other general journal entries into SAP.
Process payment instructions with the bank for intercompany payables and intercompany funding.
Prepare invoices, statements of accounts and receipts, and coordinate with Account Managers on adjustments and collection status.
Maintain general ledger, subsidiary ledgers, and other accounting records.
Prepare fixed assets listings, depreciation schedules, prepayment schedules, and related records.
Handle payroll accounting data entry for Asia payroll and final pay transactions.
Prepare daily cash position and monthly bank reconciliations.
Assist month-end closings and GL reconciliations.
Prepare timely reports and perform related duties; liaise with auditors during audits.

Transcom is seeking a General Ledger Analyst to join our team in Pasig. The role focuses on maintaining the general ledger, processing journal entries, supporting audit activities, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities

Bookkeeping and data entry of accounts receivable, intercompany transactions, employee advances and liquidations, prepayments, amortization, and other general journal entries into SAP.
Process payment instructions with the bank for intercompany payables and intercompany funding.
Process accounts receivable, generate and distribute client invoices, prepare statement of accounts and official receipts, and coordinate with Account Managers on adjustments and collection status.
Maintain general ledger, subsidiary ledgers, and other accounting records.
Prepare and maintain fixed assets listings, depreciation/lapasing tables, prepayment schedules, employee data, and other company records.
Handle payroll accounting, including data entry to the accounting system for payroll and final pay transactions for Asia.
Prepare daily cash position and monthly bank reconciliations of bank accounts.
Assist in month‑end closings, including general ledger reconciliation.
Prepare and ensure timely submission of reports and perform related duties as assigned.
Interface with internal and external auditors for annual audit and special projects, coordinating schedules and audit requirements.
