Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or related field.
• At least 2 years of work experience in general accounting, including GL, bank and balance sheet reconciliations, and fixed assets.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls and GAAP.
• Proficiency with ERP applications, especially Oracle and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Perform bank reconciliation to protect the organization’s assets and verify cash transactions.
• Reconcile and analyze balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy through source detail vouching and discrepancy resolution.
• Generate reports and perform account analysis to correct mis-recordings before financial statements are finalized.
• Collaborate with partners for critical financial deliverables and maintain audit trails of supporting documents.
• Handle Fixed Asset Accounting including recognition, depreciation, transfers, retirement, and write-offs.
