Job summary

Copeland, a global climate technologies leader, seeks an Engineer I for Product Environmental Compliance in the Quezon City area. The role focuses on evaluating product BOMs against global environmental laws and producing declarations of conformity.

You will engage suppliers and coordinate with the business unit to track compliance and targets. Requirements include a bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering or related field with 1–2 years of experience, plus knowledge of environmental regulations and

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
• Working knowledge of Materials, Chemicals, and Environmental laws and regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessment of bill of materials for customer requests.
• Issue a declaration letter for products completely assessed against requested legislations.
• Conduct supplier outreach for material declaration submission.
• Interpret and verify supplier material declaration submissions before they are loaded into the system.
• Perform regular meetings with the business unit point of contact to discuss the action registry, compliance status, and targets.
