Job summary

Dover Business Services (DBS) is an independent business-to-business service provider with global operations and locations including Cebu, Philippines. The role focuses on core accounting activities such as journal entries, reconciliations, fixed-asset management, intercompany processes, and reporting to support tax and statutory requirements.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA preferred), experience with major ERP systems (SAP/ Oracle), and strong Excel

Qualifications

• Experience in general accounting with exposure to US GAAP and IFRS.
• Familiarity with Fixed Asset, Cash Management and Intercompany Accounting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (including SharePoint and Web-based).

Responsibilities

• Processes journal entries, allocations, and period end adjustments.
• Performs balance sheet account reconciliation.
• Performs sub-ledger account variance analysis.
• Posts and reconciles intercompany transactions.
• Performs consolidations and process streamlining.
• Monitors and processes fixed-asset additions and capitalization, retirement and disposal, adjustments, revaluations, transfers and maintenance expenses.
• Calculates and records depreciation expense.
• Reconciles fixed-asset ledger.
• Provides fixed-asset data to support tax, statutory reporting.
• Performs cash management including its reconciliation.
• Provides audit support, both internal and external.
• Supports continuous improvement for general ledger processes.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA preferred
