Job summary

Hubexo is building a brand-new Finance Shared Services Centre in Manila. We seek a General Accounting Analyst to execute GA activities and support period-end close for assigned entities, contributing to process improvements as the SSC grows.

You will work with regional and global stakeholders, gain exposure to international finance operations, and develop core accounting capabilities in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 1–3 years’ experience in General Accounting or similar finance role preferred.
• Exposure to month-end close and basic reconciliations a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Record transactions and support period-end close activities.
• Process journal entries, accruals, and intercompany transactions.
• Assist with payroll, project accounting, and fixed asset accounting as required.
• Prepare trial balances and support reconciliations for reporting accuracy.

The opportunity (Pioneer Finance Shared Services Team)

This is a pioneer role within Hubexo’s newly established Finance Shared Services Centre. You’ll play a key part in building a high-performing finance operation - contributing not just to day-end delivery, but also to how we work, collaborate, and continuously improve.

You’ll work closely with regional and global stakeholders, gain exposure to international finance operations, and grow as the SSC expands.

About the role

As a General Accounting Analyst, you will support accurate execution of GA activities and play a key role in period-end close support for assigned entities/regions. This role is ideal for someone who wants to deepen core accounting capability in a global environment while contributing to process improvements as the SSC grows.

What you’ll be responsible for

Service delivery

• Record transactions and support period-end close activities
• Process journal entries, accruals, and intercompany transactions
• Assist with payroll, project accounting, and fixed asset accounting as required
• Prepare trial balances and support reconciliations to ensure reporting accuracy

Quality, controls and compliance

• Maintain accurate documentation and follow SOPs and internal controls
• Support eliminations and reporting preparation as part of close cycles

Improvement and collaboration

• Prepare financial data to support reporting and decision-making
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and SOP updates
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve queries and support accurate reporting

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 1-3 years’ experience in General Accounting or a similar finance role
• Exposure to month-end close support and basic reconciliations
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and collaboration skills
• Proactive, eager to learn, and comfortable working across deadlines
