Job summary

Bricolage Group of Companies in Quezon City is seeking a detail‑oriented General Accountant to manage daily financial records and assist the accounting team.

You will perform reconciliations, support closings, prepare tax files, and help with audits, ensuring accuracy, timely reporting, and compliance in our Philippine operations. Strong Excel skills and good communication are required to coordinate with internal stakeholders and external auditors, while maintaining high analytical standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
• CPA preferred but not required.
• At least 1 year of experience in General Accounting.
• Preferably with accounting and/or tax experience.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel.
• Good communication skills.
• High analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile financial statements and accounts, including GL account checking and reconciliation, ensuring data accuracy through regular checks of assigned accounts.
• Perform bank reconciliation and liquidation of cash advances.
• Support monthly and annual closing procedures by recording accruals, reclassifying accounts, maintaining schedules, and ensuring data completion.
• Prepare tax working files, file returns, and ensure timely filing and payments.
• Assist in internal and external audits, as well as other government-required procedures.
• Conduct bookkeeping and recording of transactions.
• Perform any other work or assignments given by the General Accounting Supervisor and GA Manager.
