Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in a general accounting role
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Excellent data entry and mathematical skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and month-end close processes
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of accounting transactions accurately and efficiently
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
• Reconcile errors, perform reconciliations, and resolve escalated issues
• Respond to customer emails and calls in a courteous, professional manner
• Prepare and maintain accurate accounting reports and documentation
• Own complex account reconciliations during month-end close
• Ensure adherence to GAAP and internal controls
• Stay updated on company accounting policies and procedures
• Collaborate with other departments as needed
• Maintain a positive, empathetic attitude toward customers and colleagues
