Responsibilities

• Manage intercompany transactions end-to-end across entities.
• Lead month-end close with journal entries and allocations.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, P&L, and flux/trend commentary.
• Own balance sheet reconciliations and surface risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with tax and payroll on reconciliations and related entries.
• Support internal and external audits and evaluate key process controls.
• Build and maintain work instructions in line with ISO standards.
• Identify inefficiencies and drive process improvements.
• Build strong working relationships with APAC finance stakeholders.

We're looking for a Senior Accountant to own the record-to-report process for complex APAC entities, including holdings companies. You'll act as the primary accountant for your assigned entities, drive month-end close, and be a key finance partner to stakeholders across the region.

This is a high-visibility, high-ownership role — not a back-office seat. You'll work closely with APAC finance teams in Hong Kong, Australia, and beyond, and you'll have real opportunities to shape how we work.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage Intercompany transactions end-to-end — recording, reconciling, and eliminating across entities
• Lead month-end close — journal entries, allocations, and timely book completion
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, P&L, and flux/trend commentary
• Own balance sheet reconciliations and surface risks and opportunities proactively
• Collaborate with tax and payroll teams on reconciliations and related entries
• Support internal and external audits and evaluate key process controls
• Build and maintain work instructions in line with ISO standards
• Identify inefficiencies and drive process improvements
• Build strong working relationships with APAC finance stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Finance — CPA or CMA preferred
• Solid Experience with intercompany accounting and multi-entity reconciliations
• At least 5 years of experience in month-end close, financial analysis, and corporate accounting
• Background in a Global Business Services or Shared Services environment
• Solid grasp of accounting standards and how they apply in variance and transaction analysis
• Strong communicator — comfortable engaging stakeholders, auditors, and senior finance leaders
• Self-directed, deadline-driven, and comfortable in a fast-moving environment
• Curious about continuous improvement and open to emerging tools, including AI
