Job summary

Kenvue is recruiting for a General Accounting Analyst for its Finance Operations team in Asia Pacific, Philippines. As part of the Global Finance network, you will handle journal entries, balance sheet and income statement accounting, and support GAAP compliance while contributing to process improvements.

This role reports to the FinOps Senior Team Lead and offers a hybrid work setup, exposure to SAP and Excel, and opportunities to grow within a multinational company focused on iconic brands.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or equivalent is required.
• 0–2 years of accounting experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with employees at all levels.
• Open to new ideas, rapid change and embracing new technologies.
• Organized and able to work efficiently to meet tight deadlines.
• Experience with SAP, Excel and other Microsoft tools.

Responsibilities

• Support all global activities related to General Accounting such as journal entries, allocations, program runs and other day-to-day activities.
• Responsible for complete and accurate accounting for all General process flows for Balance Sheet and Income Statement.
• Analyze Balance Sheet accounts and resolve items in a timely manner.
• Adhere to GAAP and SEC regulations.
• Support improvements and automation projects within the accounting team.
• Keep updated with industry trends and new accounting rulings.

What You Will Do

Kenvue is recruiting for a General Accounting Analyst for its Finance Operations team. This role is part of Finance Operations with the successful candidate being a valuable contributor to the Financial Reporting team. The Analyst is responsible for supporting Kenvue's Finance Reporting processes in compliance with company policy and applicable regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support all global activities related to General Accounting activities such as journal entries, allocations, program runs and other day-to-day activities
• Responsible for the complete and accurate accounting for all the General process flows for the Balance Sheet and Income Statement
• Responsible for the analysis of Balance Sheet accounts assigned and timely resolution of open items.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures to comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regulations.
• Support ongoing improvements and automation projects within the accounting team.
• Remain updated with industry trends, changes in accounting rulings, and latest technologies.

Compliance

• Assist in the internal and external audit process
• Adhere to the strong internal controls in place to achieve “adequate” internal and external audit ratings.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of a bachelor’s level degree or equivalent is required, preferably in accounting or finance.
• 0-2 years of experience in accounting, problem solving, process improvement and communication.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with employees at all levels
• Open to new ideas, rapid change and embracing new technologies
• Organized and able to work efficiently to meet tight deadlines.
• Experience in SAP, Excel, and other Microsoft Tools

Desired Qualifications

• Experience in a Interface, Procurement & General Accounting, or Financial Reporting department is desirable
• Solid US GAAP accounting knowledge preferrable
