Responsibilities

• The General Accountant handles and assists the Accounting Supervisor with the timely and accurate preparation of financial report that is in accordance with applicable accounting policies and standards.
• Understands basic casino bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• Handles and monitors casino receivables and payables on timely manner.
• Prepares and coordinates timely filing and payment of the monthly gaming taxes and fees.
• Processes and posts daily and monthly journal entries into the accounting system and ensures that all transactions are recorded appropriately.
• Assists in the preparation monthly reconciliations of P&L and BS key accounts.
• Periodic review of accounting controls and processes.
• Analyzes, manages and reconciles accounting reports against gaming records and documents.
• Safekeeps accounting records and reports.
• Performs other duties as needed.
