Job summary

InterContinental Hotels Group is seeking an Associate Data Scientist III, GenAI Solutions to develop and deliver AI/ML solutions that drive business decisions and measurable value across the organization. You will work on predictive modeling, NLP, and generative AI with end-to-end ownership from discovery to production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative/analytical field (e.g., Data Science, CS, Math, Statistics, Econ, Engineering) or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of analytics, data science, GenAI solutions or related field with business impact.
• Strong Python and SQL for data prep, analytics, and modeling.
• Experience with ML/AI frameworks (scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Gemini).
• Experience with NLP/LLM apps: prompt engineering, embeddings, RAG, structured outputs.
• Working knowledge of cloud ML environments (GCP/Vertex AI, BigQuery ML) and Git/Bitbucket.

Responsibilities

• Build, validate, and deploy AI/ML solutions for defined business problems.
• Apply AI/ML and statistical techniques across prediction, classification, time series, segmentation, and decisioning.
• Develop NLP and generative AI solutions (extraction, classification, summarization, RAG, prompts).
• Contribute to agentic AI solutions: tool use, workflow orchestration, routing, guardrails, traceability.
• Evaluate AI/ML solutions with benchmarks, validation, human review, and production performance measures.
• Support deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement of models and AI services in batch and real-time environments.
• Collaborate with Data Science, Analytics, Data Engineering, and Tech to communicate findings clearly.
