Job summary

Lidl & Kaufland Asia seeks a senior AI/ML specialist to partner with business and IT teams. You will prototype AI solutions, design precise LLM prompts, and build agentic workflows within GCP, Databricks, and Gemini.

You translate complex requirements into actionable prompts, implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation, and collaborate with data engineers to ensure robust data semantics for accurate Looker Studio reporting. You will mentor teams and drive rapid, scalable AI delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
6+ years in AI/ML, Data Science, or NLP engineering, with a strong foundation in both Generative AI and traditional ML.
Proven track record of rapidly prototyping GenAI or machine learning POCs that solve concrete business problems.

Responsibilities

Prototype AI solutions and build PoCs to validate business value.
Translate complex requirements into precise, scalable LLM prompts for workflows.
Architect and version-control prompts for GCP, Databricks, and Gemini.
Design prompts and system instructions for AI agents and multi-step tasks.
Develop context-aware prompts using RAG with proprietary data.
Evaluate prompts to reduce hallucinations and improve accuracy.
Deconstruct business problems into steps LLMs can process.
