Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Travel Consultant in Cebu City to provide expert travel consultation, manage bookings, and ensure customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate should possess at least one year of experience in the travel industry and hold a Bachelor's degree in Tourism or Hospitality Management. Familiarity with GDS platforms such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo is required, along with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Qualifications

• At least 1 year of relevant experience as a Travel Consultant or similar role within the travel industry.
• Experience handling escalated cases and direct passenger communication is an advantage.
• Familiarity and prior experience with GDS platforms such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo is required.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on destinations, transportation, accommodations, travel requirements, and travel insurance options.
• Book flights, hotels, transfers, cruises, and tour packages based on client preferences.
• Communicate directly with passengers to address concerns and resolve issues.
• Provide accurate information regarding travel regulations, visas, and other entry policies.
• Liaise with airlines, hotels, and tour operators to confirm bookings.
• Prepare detailed travel documentation and maintain accurate client records.
