Job summary

EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) in the Philippines is seeking an Infrastructure Architect to bridge business needs and technical solutions within Technology Consulting. You will gather requirements, translate them into architecture artifacts, and guide cloud infrastructure design and delivery.

You will work with stakeholders across architects, developers and business leads to ensure alignment, risk-aware decisions, and continuous improvement of cloud and on-site infrastructure capabilities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business analysis within technical environments, including system integration, infrastructure, cloud platforms or application development projects.
• Producing clear and comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, architecture diagrams/views, functional specifications, and process flows.
• Hands-on experience in deploying cloud infrastructure and establishing cloud infrastructure platforms, ability to work in Terraform.
• Understanding of IT network topologies and its associated implications on establishing Hyperscaler platforms
• Ability to design cloud infrastructure solutions which includes associated services like networking, private endpoints, function apps, storage (blob), messaging (service bus / event grid), data stores (e.g. cosmos / SQL / postgres).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex systems and identify gaps or improvement opportunities.
• Understanding of core on-prem infrastructure platforms and services (AD, Hypervisor platforms, Application environment services, Azure & AWS PaaS and SaaS offerings etc..)
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure migration with understanding of containerisation and integration designs
• Able to produce solution and product design documentation.

• Documentation & Analysis: Translate stakeholder needs into clear specifications, functional documentation, and create architecture design that guide solution development.
• Development & Technical Skills: Ability to develop and execute code associated to technology infrastructure using latest tools and platforms. Ability to establish hyper-scaler platforms from scratch, understanding the fundamental design principles to build best-practice and sustainable cloud infrastructure solutions
• Validation & Testing: Develop test and validation frameworks to assess technical solutions against business requirements, ensuring alignment and quality.
• Risk & Impact Assessment: Analyze potential risks and impacts of proposed solutions, contributing to informed decision-making and project planning.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, developers, and business leads to ensure shared understanding and delivery of requirements.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve business processes and system functionality through data-driven insights and feedback loops.

As an Infrastructure Architect within our Technology Consulting team, you will play a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions.
