Job summary

EY Global Delivery Services Philippines invites an experienced .NET Architect/Lead to join our Microsoft Technology team. You will design, implement, and guide scalable apps using .NET Core/ASP.NET Core and Angular, mentor engineers, and ensure delivery aligned with business goals.

You will work with Agile teams, drive architectural decisions, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions across global projects.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Management or a related field.
• 10–14 years of experience in .NET development with leadership experience.
• Strong design and architectural capabilities for software solutions.
• Excellent communication and ability to drive projects end to end.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, and distributed teams.
• Proven ability to mentor and lead software engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and architecture of robust, scalable .NET Core/ASP.NET Core applications.
• Provide technical guidance and hands-on support to development teams.
• Review system architecture for alignment with goals and standards.
• Define coding standards, best practices, and SDLC processes.
• Manage and mentor a team of software engineers; track progress and delivery.
• Oversee end-to-end software development lifecycle and ensure on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions; communicate risks.

Enablement Services provides cost-effective, high-skilled, and innovative services to support EY’s global and local enablement teams. Markets, BMC, AWS, Finance and Accounting, Risk Management, Procurement, People Shared Services, IT Service Delivery and IT Global Infrastructure services, are among the services offered by Enablement Services.

Our innovation specialists serve the GDS Client Service and Enablement Services teams, along with Service Lines, Core Business Services and Sectors. The team brings the desired environment, technologies and skilled teams together for facilitation, rapid prototyping and innovative thinking. The opportunity

We’re looking for resources with expertise in Microsoft Technologies to join the group of our Microsoft Technology team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm whilst being instrumental in the growth of our service offering.

Your key responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of robust, scalable, and high-performance applications using .NET Core/ASP.NET Core
• Provide technical guidance and hands-on support to development teams.
• Review system architecture and ensure alignment with business goals and technical standards.
• Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, software development processes.
• Experience with working with Agile methodology and scrums, and stand ups
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers.
• Assign tasks, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Oversee end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Work closely with product owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality.
• Manage risks, dependencies, and technical challenges effectively.
• Communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Provide regular updates on project status and technical risks.

Skills and attributes

• Experience in Microsoft Technologies
• Good experience in C#, .NET Core, Angular, SQL Server
• Good experience in database designing, writing complex SQL queries and performance tuning
• Solution Architect experience –doing technical designs, contributing to RFPs, etc.
• Visual Studio, TFS, VSTS and GIT
• Modular programming in Angular, Type Script, and other front-end unit testing tools
• CI/CD, DevOps, setting up and managing Build and release pipelines
• Good to have Azure or any cloud certifications

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Must have Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Management or a related field

• Must have experience leading a team
• Excellent communication skills with presentation experience preferred
• Ability to drive the project and prioritize tasks into manageable work products.
• Can operate independently or with minimum supervision
