Job summary

Dempsey Resource Management in the Philippines is seeking a seasoned Quality Control Manager to lead the QC team through start-up, inline, and final inspections. You will drive defect reduction with root-cause analysis and CAPA, ensuring garments meet quality and shipment timelines.

The role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to coordinate cross-functionally to resolve quality issues and produce comprehensive quality reports for management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in garment or related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years in garment quality control with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, measurements and defects.
• Experience in start-up, inline, and final inspections and RCA

Responsibilities

• Leads and manages the QC team and assigns inspectors based on production needs.
• Ensures inspection from start-up to final is performed to standards.
• Monitors garment construction, measurements, workmanship, appearance, and packaging.
• Identifies recurring defects, conducts root-cause analysis, and recommends CAPA.
• Coordinates with Production, QA, Merchandising and other departments to resolve issues.
• Approves, holds, or rejects finished goods based on quality standards.
• Monitors implementation of corrective actions and quality improvements.
• Prepares and submits quality reports and updates to Management.
• Ensures production and shipment priorities meet quality requirements.
