Job summary

Amentum seeks a Galley Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the galley warehouse on Diego Garcia, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, inventory, and distribution of food service supplies and Government Furnished Property. You will supervise staff, enforce government property accountability, and uphold safety, regulations, and policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years in warehouse operations, preferably govt/military/logistics.
• Experience with handheld scanners and WMS.
• Advanced knowledge of Government Furnished Property management and accountability.
• Working knowledge of FAR governing government property.
• Familiarity with DLA, DDS, and DCMA etools.
• Passport valid for travel internationally and ability to obtain visas.
• Ability to meet medical, security, and deployment requirements.
• Reading/speaking English to perform contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily galley warehouse operations for receiving, storage, and distribution of supplies and materials.
• Coordinate activities to support uninterrupted galley and food service operations.
• Verify daily receiving reports, shipping logs, and inventory transactions.
• Receive, inspect, store, palletize, and prepare materials for shipment.
• Inspect shipments and report discrepancies to management.
• Maintain accountability and proper management of Government Furnished Property.
• Ensure compliance with FAR, DCMA, and related government property requirements.
• Train and supervise Warehouse personnel; monitor safety and organization.
