Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a software professional to join our Orchestrade practice for an Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) platform implementation. You will work on a Azure-hosted SaaS solution using .NET/C#, SQL, and integration with risk, operations, and finance teams across power, gas, certificates, biomethane and LNG products.

You will participate in end-to-end delivery, including pre-deal origination, post-execution monitoring, testing, and user acceptance.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience in commodity trading domain and orchestrating large-scale technology implementations.
• Excellent communication across technical and business teams; comfortable in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end Orchestrade implementation and integration across platforms.
• Work on pre-deal origination, lifecycle management, and post-execution monitoring workflows.
• Configure platform settings, workflows, and risk-system integrations for operations, finance and reporting.
• Contribute to reporting, reconciliation, and accounting processes within the ETRM deployment.
• Collaborate with multi-team groups in a dynamic environment and adapt to client needs.

We provide end-to-end project services and have delivered Orchestrade projects across all major asset classes and sectors including investment banking, asset management, corporate treasury, commodities.

The project is an Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) Platform implementation for commodity products : Power, Gas, Certs, Biomethane and LNG

You will be part of a high profile initiative for this commodity client.

This is a brilliant opportunity to work on several types of commodity products and learn a new trading platform including the ability to showcase the work directly to the End users.

The team is responsible for the integration of a trading application (Orchestrade) used for:

• Pre-deal origination workflow and post execution monitoring and life-cycle management.
• Dedicated workflow, configuration of the platform, supporting business.
• Leverage strategic standard risk systems.
• Integration with Operations, Finance.
• Reporting, Reconciliation.
• Accounting.

The application is Orchestrade:

• Orchestrade is a .Net (C#) application: Natively connected to Excel
• Database: Microsoft SQL
• Delivered as an Azure hosted SaaS

Must have

• Strong Knowledge of commodity products : Power, Certificates, Gas, Biomethane, Energy, Liquified Natural Gas.
• Proven experience in running major technology implementations in the commodity trading domain.
• Excellent analytical skills, understanding of project life cycles, and ability to act in an entrepreneurial manner to ensure the requirements from the business are gathered in the appropriate manner.
• Proven analytical, planning, problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Comfortable with direct communication with all levels of technical and business resources.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience with working in a highly collaborative and dynamic multi-team environment.
• Experience in writing user stories and working with JIRA /similar tools.
• System Integration and User Acceptance testing.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment is essential.
• Have a willingness to learn new skills.
• Must have attention to detail.

Nice to have
