Were looking for a skilled Full-Stack WordPress Developer to create, maintain, optimise, and enhance the website and digital platforms of one of our Australian clients. This role focuses on ensuring website stability, performance, user experience, and long-term technical health. The developer will work directly with the clients internal team while being fully supported by OutsourcedIn.
Build, maintain, and enhance WordPress websites using custom themes and plugins.
Develop responsive, mobile-friendly layouts aligned with the clients branding and design standards.
Create new pages, templates, and functionalities based on business requirements.
Develop custom features, post types, integrations, and API connections.
Optimise backend performance, caching strategies, and hosting configurations.
Perform regular updates to plugins, themes, PHP versions, and WordPress core.
Conduct routine security checks, vulnerability scans, and performance audits.
Manage staging environments, backups, and safe deployment workflows.
Improve page load speeds, Core Web Vitals, and technical SEO elements.
Monitor traffic and user behaviour through analytics tools.
Recommend and implement technical enhancements for improved performance.
Collaborate with marketing and design teams to deliver high-quality layouts and user experiences.
Assist with uploading, formatting, and optimising content, images, and media.
Ensure consistent branding and intuitive navigation across the site.
Diagnose and resolve bugs, errors, and plugin conflicts.
Provide technical documentation, SOPs, and guidance for internal stakeholders.
Offer ongoing support for new features, updates, and improvements.
Strong experience with WordPress development (themes, plugins, custom functions).
Experience with Elementor, Gutenberg, WPBakery, or similar builders.
Knowledge of hosting management, DNS, CDN, and server optimisation.
Familiarity with Git or other version control tools.
Understanding of SEO best practices and site-speed optimisation.
Experience managing and maintaining high-traffic websites is an advantage.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
High attention to detail with a focus on quality and reliability.
Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and prioritise tasks.
