Job summary

8x8 invites a Senior Full Stack Engineer (Java) to join our Cebu team, building a new SaaS product from the ground up, collaborating with colleagues across Singapore, Europe, and North America in an agile environment.

You will design robust backend systems with Spring, develop React/Redux front-ends, ensure security with JWT/OAuth, and contribute to performance, testing, and continuous improvement in a hybrid Cebu City office.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Full Stack experience with Java as core language.
• Strong Spring Framework (Boot, MVC, Security) experience.
• Experience building RESTful services and front-end with React/Redux.
• Cloud experience (AWS, GCP or Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and build robust, scalable Java-based backend systems with Spring.
• Develop modern front-end interfaces using React and Redux.
• Apply JWT/OAuth and security best practices in web apps.
• Ensure performance, conduct code reviews, and drive quality.
