Job summary

Macquarie Group in Manila is seeking a software engineer to join a dynamic global technology team focused on Risk Management and Compliance applications. You will design, code, configure, test, and implement system changes while collaborating with business stakeholders and the broader development team.

You will work on in-house and third-party systems, contribute to the design and testing of new components, perform peer reviews, and document technical specifications to ensure smooth integration

Qualifications

• 2 years of software development experience with full-stack skills.
• Proficient in Core and Enterprise Java (1.8+), Spring, SQL, JPA and Hibernate.
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, OpenStack) and CI/CD environments.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and UNIX scripting.
• Exposure to React or Angular UI frameworks.
• Interest or experience in Python or AI tools and Prompt Engineering.
• Nice-to-have: testing frameworks (Cucumber, Robot Framework, Playwright, Selenium, JMeter) and SAFe Agile.

• Deliver and support in-house and third-party systems; design, code, configure, test, and implement changes.
• Focus on operational support and quick issue resolution; document technical specifications and product details.
• Conduct peer code reviews and ensure smooth integration with other systems.
