Job summary

Ascendion is seeking a Mid-Level Developer in Pasay to build, enhance, and maintain web apps across frontend and backend layers using modern JavaScript tech. The role covers React.js, Next.js, Node.js, and NestJS, developing APIs, and collaborating with QA and business users to deliver features.

You will work on scalable frontend components, integrate with backend services, and contribute to overall performance, security, and reliability while following SDLC and coding best practices.

Qualifications

• 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Hands-on experience with React.js and Next.js.
• Backend development with Node.js and NestJS.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience with relational or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Git/version control.
• Understanding of SDLC and coding best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using React.js and Next.js.
• Develop backend services and REST APIs using Node.js and NestJS.
