Job summary

Cooee Inc. is seeking a Full Stack Software Developer to help develop, enhance, and maintain a cloud-based management portal. You will work across the stack, from frontend interfaces to backend services on AWS, focusing on secure, scalable software and close collaboration with stakeholders.

The role requires at least 2 years of web development, strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills, and experience with React and NestJS/Node.js. Great problem-solving and ownership are valued.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience developing web applications.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with React or a similar frontend framework.
• Experience building backend applications with NestJS, Node.js, and REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain features across the platform.
• Build responsive interfaces using React.
• Develop secure backend services and REST APIs using NestJS, Node.js, and TypeScript.
• Design and optimize relational databases, SQL queries, and data migrations.
• Maintain integrations with AWS services including EC2, RDS, and S3.
• Support and improve Docker-based deployments and application infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve frontend, backend, database, and production issues.
• Implement secure authentication, authorization, validation, and access controls.
• Ensure backend services enforce security and business rules.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following development best practices.
• Review existing code to improve performance, scalability, and security.
• Contribute to technical documentation, architecture discussions, and development standards.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Help improve platform reliability through testing, monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
