Job summary

Aon Insurance and Reinsurance Brokers Philippines, Inc is seeking a Full Stack Developer to build and enhance digital products and services. You will implement features across frontend and backend, collaborate with analysts, testers, and project managers, and contribute to architecture decisions.

You will work in a dynamic team, apply modern web technologies including .NET Core and Angular, and participate in deployments, code reviews, and ongoing learning to advance our digital ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of development experience in the technology industry.
• Strong understanding of web technologies, APIs, and databases.
• Proficiency in .NET Core 8-10 (LTS) and MSSQL.
• Experience with modern web UI frameworks (Angular).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (JIRA, Confluence).
• CI/CD deployment experience using Azure DevOps Pipelines.

What the day will look like

• Develop Aon products by implementing, testing, debugging, analysing, reviewing and all other aspects of the software development lifecycle.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

Must Have:

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a developer in the technology industry - minimum 5 years of experience.
• Solid understanding of digital technologies, including web development, APIs, databases.
• Proficiency in programming languages, design pattern frameworks & scripting (e.g. NET Core 8-10 (LTS), MSSQL).
• Experience in modern web UI JS framework (e.g. Angular).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence).
• CI/CD cloud deployment experience (e.g. Azure DevOps Pipelines).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate complex technical challenges and propose effective solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage numerous projects simultaneously.
• Adaptability and open to new technology as part of application technical stack evolution.

Nice To Have:

• Exposure to insurance (eg. placement, policy, claims, underwriting, billing) or the broader financial services systems.
• Understanding of cybersecurity, technology risk, and compliance requirements in regulated environments (e.g. insurance or financial services).
• Experience working in virtual, distributed teams across multiple countries, using modern collaboration and video-conferencing tools.
