Job summary

Aon plc in Manila, Philippines, is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to design and deliver enterprise-grade web solutions. You will work across teams to implement, test, and deploy features, contribute to architecture decisions, and advocate modern tooling and AI-assisted delivery.

The role requires strong JavaScript/TypeScript and .NET Core experience, cloud deployments, and a collaborative, Agile mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a developer in technology.
• Solid understanding of web development, APIs, and databases.
• Proficiency in NET Core and scripting.
• Experience with modern web UI like Angular.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (JIRA, Confluence).
• CI/CD cloud deployment experience (Azure DevOps Pipelines).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

Skills and experience that will lead to success

Must Have:

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a developer in the technology industry - minimum 5 years of experience.
• Solid understanding of digital technologies, including web development, APIs, databases.
• Proficiency in programming languages, design pattern frameworks & scripting (e.g. NET Core 8-10 (LTS), MSSQL).
• Experience in modern web UI JS framework (e.g. Angular).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence).
• CI/CD cloud deployment experience (e.g. Azure DevOps Pipelines).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate complex technical challenges and propose effective solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage numerous projects simultaneously.
• Adaptability and open to new technology as part of application technical stack evolution.

Nice To Have:

• Exposure to insurance (eg. placement, policy, claims, underwriting, billing) or the broader financial services systems.
• Understanding of cybersecurity, technology risk, and compliance requirements in regulated environments (e.g. insurance or financial services).
• Experience working in virtual, distributed teams across multiple countries, using modern collaboration and video‑conferencing tools.
