Job summary

Newport World Resorts seeks a Frontend Engineer to build user-facing experiences across its Digital Products & Platforms. You will craft responsive, high-performing interfaces for customer journeys, collaboration with product, UX, QA, and backend teams to deliver scalable features across web and mobile-web.

Requirements include 3–6+ years in frontend development, strong JavaScript/React, HTML5, CSS3, and experience with REST or GraphQL. Knowledge of Vercel/Git and an agile environment is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–6+ years of frontend engineering or web app development.
• Proven track record delivering production-grade web or mobile web apps.
• Experience in cross-functional agile delivery teams.
• Integrated Resort industry background is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive, modular UI components.
• Implement features across customer-facing and internal tools (e.g., acquisition flows, sales team platform, promo journeys, service portals).
• Ensure cross-device compatibility (mobile web, desktop).
• Optimize performance (loading speed, rendering, bundle size).
• Maintain reusable component libraries aligned with the design system.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, QA, and backend engineers.
• Write clean, testable code; support QA and release cycles.
• Fix bugs and improve system reliability; assist production incidents.
• Suggest architecture and tooling improvements; contribute to docs.
