Job summary

STARBREAKER CORP is seeking a Frontend Engineer proficient in React Native and React.js to build intuitive, high-performing web and mobile experiences across platforms.

Frontend Engineer (React Native & React.js)

About the Role

We are looking for a Frontend engineer who is passionate about building intuitive, high-performing, and scalable digital experiences across web and mobile platforms.

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining customer-facing applications, internal platforms, and digital experiences using React Native and React.js. Working closely with Platforms Managers, Designers, Architects, QA Engineers, Data teams, and Backend engineers, you will help bring platform experiences to life through clean, maintainable, and high-quality code.

This role is ideal for engineers who care deeply about user experience, performance, usability, and engineering excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Frontend Development

• Design, develop, and maintain web and mobile applications using React.js and React Native.

• Build reusable, maintainable, and scalable user interface components.

• Translate platform requirements, user journeys, and design specifications into high-quality digital experiences.

• Ensure applications are responsive, accessible, and optimized across devices and screen sizes.

• Develop clean, modular, and well-tested code following established engineering standards.

User Experience & Platform Delivery

• Collaborate closely with Platforms Designers to ensure experiences are implemented accurately and consistently.

• Partner with Platforms Managers to understand business requirements and platform objectives.

• Participate in solutioning discussions and contribute technical perspectives on user experience implementation.

• Ensure applications deliver intuitive, seamless, and performant user experiences.

Platform Integrations

• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs, authentication services, payment platforms, analytics platforms, and third-party services.

• Ensure reliable handling of data flows, error states, loading states, and edge-case scenarios.

• Support integration testing and troubleshooting across platform ecosystems.

• Collaborate with Backend engineers to define API requirements and integration approaches.

Performance, Quality & Engineering Excellence

• Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and reliability across web and mobile platforms.

• Implement automated testing and quality assurance practices where appropriate.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of frontend engineering standards.

• Identify and resolve usability, performance, and technical issues proactively.

• Ensure applications meet accessibility, security, and maintainability standards.

Delivery & Collaboration

• Collaborate with Platforms Managers, Designers, Architects, QA Engineers, Backend engineers, and Data teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.

• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, technical estimation, and delivery activities.

• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), release readiness, and production rollout activities.

• Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to ongoing platform improvements.

• Document technical implementations, reusable components, and frontend standards where required.
