Job summary

Apex Group Ltd (UK Branch) in Makati seeks a Frontend Engineer to contribute to Apex Invest software using Vue 3, Vite, TalkJS, Less, and Cypress, while collaborating with NodeJS-powered backend services. This role blends hands-on coding with best-practice adherence and mentoring within a collaborative delivery environment.

You will apply modern front-end practices, work with design systems (Storybook), and ensure responsive layouts across devices.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS design tokens.
• Proficiency in Vue 3 (Composition API, state management, routing).
• Experience with Vite for modern front-end builds.
• Integration of TalkJS or similar messaging solutions.
• Styling expertise with Less and responsive layouts (mobile, tablet, desktop).
• Automated testing with Cypress (E2E) and familiarity with Jest for unit testing.
• Understanding of design systems (e.g., Storybook or similar).
• Familiarity with iterative development practices (Scrum, Kanban).
• Strong problem-solving skills to analyze and resolve technical issues.

Description

As a Frontend Engineer, you will contribute to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of Apex Invest software systems. You’ll leverage modern front-end technologies such as Vue 3, Vite, TalkJS, Less, and Cypress, while collaborating with backend services powered by NodeJS. • Beneficial Skills: Experience with React or Angular; Experience with Node.js; Experience leading and mentoring development teams; Strong grasp of software architecture principles; Ability to own technical decisions and drive quality standards; Exposure to the Azure ecosystem and YAML CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Git); Background in financial or investment industry systems; Containerization and infrastructure tools: Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes.
