Job summary

Apex Group Ltd in Makati is seeking a Frontend Engineer to contribute to Apex Invest software. You will develop and maintain front-end systems using Vue 3, Vite, Less, and Cypress, collaborating with backend services powered by Node.js.

You will apply modern engineering practices, participate in code reviews, and help shape UI through design systems and responsive layouts. A collaborative delivery environment and opportunities for mentorship are offered.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript and CSS design tokens.
• Proficiency in Vue 3 (Composition API, state management, routing).
• Experience with Vite for modern front‑end builds.
• Integration of TalkJS or similar messaging/chat solutions.
• Styling expertise with Less and responsive layouts.
• Automated testing with Cypress (E2E) and familiarity with Jest for unit testing.
• Understanding of design systems (Storybook or similar).
• Familiarity with iterative development practices (Scrum, Kanban).
• Strong problem‑solving skills to analyze and resolve technical issues.

Description

As a Frontend Engineer, you will contribute to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of Apex Invest software systems. You’ll leverage modern front‑end technologies such as Vue 3, Vite, TalkJS, Less, and Cypress, while collaborating with backend services powered by NodeJS. This role requires a balance of hands‑on coding, adherence to best practices, and mentoring within a collaborative delivery environment.

Skills Required

• Styling expertise with Less and responsive layouts (mobile, tablet, desktop).
• Automated testing with Cypress (E2E) and familiarity with Jest for unit testing.
• Understanding of design systems (e.g., Storybook or similar).
• Familiarity with iterative development practices (Scrum, Kanban).
• Strong problem‑solving skills to analyze and resolve technical issues.

Beneficial Skills

• Experience with React or Angular.
• Experience with Nodejs.

• Strong grasp of software architecture principles.
• Ability to own technical decisions and drive quality standards.
• Exposure to the Azure ecosystem and YAML CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Git).
• Background in financial or investment industry systems.
• Containerization and infrastructure tools: Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes.
