Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd in the Philippines is seeking a Freight Broker to act as the intermediary between shippers and carriers, coordinating loads, negotiating rates, and ensuring timely pickups and deliveries.

You will track shipments from start to finish, use tracking data to update customers and the internal team, and hand off to a teammate at shift end for follow-up. Must communicate clearly, stay calm under pressure, and maintain time awareness.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years trucking/freight brokerage experience expected.
• Must have knowledge of trucking industry basics.

Job description

Freight Broker acts as an intermediary between shipper and carrier to facilitate the transportation of goods, dispatcher is responsible for coordinating the transportation of goods assigning loads to drivers, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups, Tracking is responsible for monitoring all shipments, using tracking software to provide accurate updates to customers and internal team for pickups and deliveries with updates put into system.

These positions require the utmost responsibility to focus and maintain time awareness. Ability to stay calm under pressure, have a clear voice to be able to communicate effectively

As a Freight Broker you will identify qualified carriers, negotiate rates, provide all documents needed for deliveries and or pickups, monitor the shipments start to finish and or pass off to team mate at end of shift to follow up

Requirements

Must Have:

• Would like 2-4 years of trucking, freight brokerage experience with basic knowledge of the trucking industries
